Agamemnon was asking for it...
The title says it all... he was asking for it. I only wonder what he was thinking even coming home. He killed baby girl AND comes home with a war "bride". Come on Aggy. Maybe, MAYBE he could of comforted Clyd by telling her "it was the only way," or "it was for the greater good," but coming home with "another woman on his arm" AND having aboslutely no remorse for what he did to their only daughter... What did he expect to happen? I would be scared out of my mind to come home... after all, "hell hath no fury than a woman's scorn." Sense he is the family killing pig that he is, he would have been much better off killing mama too so he could come home to his happy kingdom with his happy new wife.

I definitely think that Agamamnon really messed things up at home. Like you said, he killed their daughters and came home with a "friend". I really think that Agamemnon should have thought through things a little more. Like you said, considering the situation, he should have come home with open arms to comfort her. She has been through so much pain. From her husband being gone at war to losing her daughter she's had a pretty rough time. However, I don't think that killing his wife would've been the best idea, considering how this would affect the people. Of course, it's not exactly the brightest idea to kill the King either. Sometimes it's just a lose lose situation for everyone involved.
ReplyDeleteHaha Aggy I like your nickname for him. If you haven't figured out by now the whole family seems to be a little off the handle. It's so much murder and chaos it's a little hard to keep up with things Dad murdering daughter. Then mother murdering dad. Then son coming out of nowhere and killing mom this whole family is seriously screwed up.
