A question was brought up in class. We didn't spend very much time on it, but it stuck with me. It was the question of if someone has the ability to kill, would fate prevent them from doing what they're capable of? I wanted to know what your thoughts on that would be.
One other thing that stuck out to me was how they all came together in a brotherhood of sorts during the games. It's always fascinating to me how after a war or any other tragedy people all over the world come together to support each other. Our human compassion is something that seems to transcend any cultural or language barrier. I feel as though that's how it at this point in the book. Coming together in a normally cut-throat setting and instead, supporting each other after everything they've been through together.
I commented on Treya Smith's post.
