Lately, I have been sincerely struggling with needs and wants and discerning between the two. Something that was shown to me this week is that by simply submitting myself to His divine will the difference between my needs and my wants is beautifully revealed.

Oh, How He Loves!
I always enjoy starting at the beginning of things. Reading Genesis always brings me such comfort. It is the most beautiful story in all the world and it is forever true. I love to see how intricately everything was perfected in Him, through Him, for Him, and by Him. It all falls into place as he instructs it. I read the assigned in three different translations: The Message, English Standard, and New King James. All are exquisite! However, my favorite line in all of it comes from Genesis 3:21 from English Standard: "And the Lord God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them." Despite everything that had occurred in the garden, despite His children wronging Him right there in the beginning, our great God showed compassion for us by clothing them.
